“Broken” is the single from the fourth studio album Who We Are by Lifehouse. The lead singer has a reason as to why he wrote this song. His friend who lived in Nashville needed a kidney transplant so the singer flew out to see his friend. When he got there he went to talk to him and the chorus of the song is actually what his friend told him. It reached #2 on the Billboard Bubbling Under Hot 100 Singles chart, and #74 on the Pop 100.
